SARCLISA ESCENA with CirCLIQ administration: Fill, Stick, CLIQ
CirCLIQ is a single-use on-body injector that doesn't require manual push6
- The CirCLIQ system includes a sterile 10-mL on-body injector and filling base. Device must be filled prior to use. The CirCLIQ system does not include any batteries or electronic components
Prepare to administer SARCLISA ESCENA with CirCLIQ6
- Check expiration dates and inspect the injector and vial. Allow the vial to reach ambient temperature for 20 minutes
- Collect supplies: alcohol wipes, gloves, sharps and medical disposal containers
These illustrations are not intended to replace product Instructions for Use. Please refer to the Instructions for Use for complete instructions.

1: HCP-filled delivery system1,6
- Prepare the SARCLISA ESCENA vial and set up the CirCLIQ system on a clean, flat surface
- Remove the green cap from the vial, clean the rubber stopper with an alcohol wipe, and let the vial air-dry
- Press the ready-to-use 1,400-mg vial of SARCLISA ESCENA firmly, top-first into the filling base port. A burst of bubbles will indicate filling has started
- The gray retainer strap will automatically open when the SARCLISA ESCENA vial is empty
- The injection should be completed within 4 hours once the vial is punctured

2: Adhesive backing ensures secure placement6
- Remove the filled CirCLIQ device from the filling base and place it on a clean injection site on the abdomen
- Choose a flat injection site on bare skin around the abdomen. Do not apply CirCLIQ on areas where belts, waistbands, or tight clothing may rub against, disturb, or dislodge the on-body injector
- Avoid injecting within about 2 inches (5 cm) around the belly button, in folded skin, or areas that are injured, tender, red, hot, scarred, or excessively hairy. If needed, trim hair around the injection site
- The injection site should be changed (rotated) at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) from previous injection site with every injection to avoid accumulation of fatty tissue
- Press firmly to ensure secure adhesion
- Avoid touching the adhesive
- Do not move the on-body injector once it is attached to the abdomen
- Do not remove the red safety tab until ready to inject

3: Deliver SARCLISA ESCENA with the CLIQ of a button6
- Push the button firmly to insert the needle and begin delivery
- The button remains pressed while the injection is in progress
- Do not bump or knock the on-body injector or button during the injection
- Keep the injection site dry during the injection
- The patient should not sleep or bathe during the injection
- Wait for the button to pop out. This indicates the injection is complete
- Do not remove CirCLIQ before the button pops out as the needle may be exposed. Sticking yourself with an exposed needle may result in infection
Remove and dispose of CirCLIQ and the filling base after the injection is finished6
- Confirm the button has popped out, indicating the needle is retracted and locked, before removing
- Put CirCLIQ in an FDA-cleared sharps disposal container
